Students of the study direction “Design” prepared a good creative gift for the 30th anniversary of our Baltic International Academy. They prepared an interesting art exhibition of student works under the guidance of professor Mikhail Kopeikin and the curator of the BiArt Student Gallery Valentin Danilenko. The exhibition features about fifty different works created in Latvia and en plein air in Italy.

When opening the exhibition, the head of the study direction “Design”, which is a kind of design school, the famous designer Mikhail Kopeikin noted that the lessons by the Academy's lecturers were useful to students. In their works, they demonstrated a good knowledge of drawing, graphics, painting, which is indispensable when creating modern design.

Valentin Danilenko, a member of the The Latvian Artists’ Union, is satisfied with the exhibition. He was particularly pleased with the collection of works by third-year student Robert Umbrashko, whom he suggested to award with a special diploma from the BiArt Student Gallery.
