This September, in all higher educational institutions of Europe, is celebrated the 35th anniversary of the ERASMUS+ exchange program. In honor of this event, an anniversary coin was released, on the obverse of which is a portrait of the famous scientist Erasmus Rotterdam, whose name is beared by the Erasmus program. Baltic International Academy also takes an active part in this program, we have concluded contracts with 149 foreign universities.

In Latvia, as a part of the anniversary events, the State Education Development Agency organized a special festival dedicated to the Erasmus+ program. In the program were included: a discussion about the capabilities and achievements of the program, the exchange of experience, workshops, quizzes and other events, in which the Erasmus+ program Coordinator Viktoria Petlak, secretary of Erasmus+ program Diana Alekseeva, BIA Vice-rector for international affairs assistant Daria Stankovska, took an active part on behalf of our academy.

According to the Erasmus+ Coordinator of our Academy Viktoria Petlak, this festival will contribute to the growth of popularity and authority of the exchange program in Latvian universities.
