At our Baltic International Academy, when preparing specialists in the tourism and hotel business, the ERASMUS + international exchange programme is widely used. The BIA students supplement their knowledge in tourism centres abroad. Foreign specialits in the field of tourism are also frequent guests at our academy. In April, guest lectures were given by tourism specialists from the Czech Republic and Turkey.

Associate professor at University College Prague Irzhi Zeleny gave an informative lecture on the role of the image of Czech beer in promoting Prague as a tourist destination. Associate professor at Mardin Artuklu University Sehmus Aykol devoted his speech to the analysis of the theory of tourist behavior based on Turkish experience.

Director of tourism and hospitality management and management of communication in the leisure and entertainment industry programmes, BIA professor Zhanna Tsaurkubule positively assessed the guest lectures and noted that they will contribute to broadening the BIA students’ horizons.
